welcome to rockhurst farm
A Treasured Forest in Wilsonville, Alabama
Rockhurst Farm is a beautiful 400 acre property registered as a Treasured forest. It is located in Shelby County off of Highway 280 East, just 30 minutes from Interstate 459. Nestled on 80 acres of the farm, you will find a beautiful wedding venue and event space. The most coveted ceremony choice is in front of the 150 year old oak tree and the large open field is another option. Either choice allows you to invite as many guests as you like to share your special day in a quiet, serene setting.
The large covered pavilion and surrounding area is perfect for your reception. Adjacent to the pavilion, you will find a barn with three restrooms, two dressing rooms and a caterer’s prep area. A large fire pit provides warmth and charm for cooler evenings.
We are pleased to offer the addition of Rockhurst Chapel in 2020. On its completion, it will sit on a hill beside a beautiful pond facing the old tree and the sunset. All areas are ADA approved.

Next to the pavilion is a barn which includes two dressing rooms, three restrooms (one is ADA approved) and a prep kitchen.
the old oak tree
The 150 year old oak tree near the pavilion is the favorite spot for a ceremony. The large wooden cross or the low hanging limbs can be decorated with flowers.
